This is the thread for those who are watching the primetime NBC coverage. We won't spoil any results for you.

Day 8 is the final day of (indoor) swimming and several Bears on Team USA are in position to get another medal in the 4x100m medley relays. Rachel Bootsma (USA) and Jessica Hardy (USA) swam the prelim, so they would get a medal if the final foursome, including Golden Bear Dana Vollmer can get on the podium. For the men, Nathan Adrian (USA) with some guy by the name of Michael Phelps (swimming in his last Olympic event) are considered the favorite in the 4x100m medley relay as well. Additionally, Hardy is competing in the Women's 50 Free Final today. Cal is in position to gain a lot more hardware. All these races should be heavily featured on the NBC broadcast.

Here is the Official NBC description:

Host Bob Costas takes fans through the last day of swimming competition where the Americans will vie for more gold. Michael Phelps hopes to bid farewell to a record career with one more gold and Missy Franklin will shine once more before closing out her first games. On the other side of the pool, 3m springboard diving semifinals keeps hopes alive for two Americans to advance to the final. Moving to the track, Carmelita Jeter aims to hold off Jamaicans Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Veronica Campbell-Brown in the 100m semis and final. Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings face a rookie Netherlands team in elimination play.
