As some of the water bear events are starting to wrap up (see LEastCoastBears' results and highlights post here), we are beginning to see more land bear action in the Olympics. After the water bears contributed significantly to Cal's medal count, as Cal Athletic Director Sandy Barbour has been Tweeting (we are leading the Pac-12 with nine), we will surely see the land bears' might in the coming days. Special notes:
Click on the LIVE (PST) time to go to NBC's live stream for each event. NBC will be broadcasting track events throughout the day and swimming during primetime (8PM-midnight). You'll also see bear-on-bear kicks in the form of the USA v NZL women's soccer match! What is this madness!? There have already been exhilarating finishes, emotional roller coasters, and as always, hardworking Golden Bears, so show your support for our Calympians. A lot of them are on Twitter (handles can be found in their CGB profiles), so join us in yelling: GO BEARS!
