Hey, look at that! The Calympians just passed the baton (CORPORATE SYNGERY ALERT!) to Cal Athletics. Just as the Olympics wind down and we take a look at the destruction that so many Calympians delivered to their opponents, actual Cal athletic events start back up!
Field Hockey and Women's Soccer (birthplace of Alex Morgan) start up this week! In the past, you maybe could follow these sports on an online game tracker. Not you can potentially watch them on TV or the internet with the Pac-12 Network. It should start up on August 15, which is this Wednesday. We'll keep an eye on the schedule there and when a Cal sport is on TV, we will bring it to your attention! In fact, here it is right here. In the next week or so, Pac-12 Network will be re-airing Cal @ Colorado football last week, but it looks like the first televised Cal sporting event (field hockey) isn't until 8.24.12. So, keep that in mind!
