If you managed to avoid all Olympic news during the day (work might help with that), this is the thread for you to talk about the primetime coverage, which is bound to have plenty of Women's Gymnastic action and Michael Phelps in the pool.

For the rest of us, this is the place to vent about another NBC directorial mistakes and/or the sappiness of their feel good pieces.

Here is the official NBC description for tonight:

Host Bob Costas takes fans through a potentially record breaking day in London. The "Fab Five" U.S. women’s gymnastics team attempt to become just the second U.S. women’s team – and first since the “Magnificent Seven” at the Atlanta Olympics – to win the team gold. Then, Michael Phelps goes for the history books in the 200m Butterfly and his 19th medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay. Stay tuned for other medal events including the women’s 200m IM final and the women’s 10m synchronized diving final.
