The Olympics are upon us and once again athletes from all over the world that are associated with UC Berkeley are vying for gold medals. And there is a good chance that Cal's medal count will rival that of many nations. Additionally, the coach of the USA women's swimming team is none other than Cal's own amazing women's swimming coach, Teri McKeever. It is really worth your time to head over to ESPN to read this great profile of a fantastic coach and Golden Bear!

To help you keep track of who you need to be rooting for, we've put together a series of posts highlighting the Cal Olympic Athletes. For continued easy access we've created a page where all of the profile links will reside, which you can see on the left side under the About Us heading. You can also take a look at all of them after the jump and use the comments section to discuss all of the riveting activities associated with the Opening Ceremonies! GO BEARS and GO GOLD (and blue)!
