This is the most important game Cal will play in OKC. That seems counter-intuitive, but the risk/reward here is huge. Win, and Cal has a foot in the door of the championship series, gets a day of rest, and they put a title rival one win away from elimination. Lose and it means that Cal will have to win three straight elimination games over two days. The two teams that win their first two games at the CWS have a major advantage over everybody else.
To do that they'll have to beat the hottest team in the country playing in their own back yard. CGB has already previewed Oklahoma, so I won't belabor the point, but they're good. Probably the best team Cal has played this year, even if ASU has a higher ranking.
I'm 99% sure it will be Jolene Henderson vs. Keilani Ricketts. You'll see some of the best hitter vs. pitcher matchups softball has to offer. Enjoy, and Go Bears!
