Cal’s journey back to Oklahoma City starts tonight against Iona. Boston and Arkansas are playing in Game 1 of the Berkeley Regional right now, and presumably one of those teams will win! The winner of this game will play the winner of that game, and hopefully that team is Cal. Or something like that.
Unfortunately, today’s game isn’t televised. Perhaps ESPN decided that the Berkeley regional games were unlikely to be competitive, like when CBS doesn’t give you a 1 vs. 16 game during March Madness. Perhaps Levine-Fricke Field isn’t TV ready. In any case, we’re stuck with gametracker and twitter. Hopefully those CGBers in attendance will pass along useful tidbits when they can.
We offered up a preview of the Gaels earlier this week, so check that out if you’re catching up. The Bears will have to win at least 10 games over the next three weeks to take home a national championship. It all starts today. GO BEARS!
