The Bears' perilously thin depth at center suffered another major blow today: Mark Brazinski tore his ACL and will miss the 2012 season..
@johnbreech: C/OL Mark Brazinski out for spring and possibly 2012 season. Coach Jeff Tedford says it looks like ACL tear in left knee.
With Galas out for spring, Chris Adcock playing with a cast, and Cochran still doing the whole graduating high school thing, Cal will have to make do with Brian Schwenke under center the rest of camp, which should mean plenty of fun grab snaps. So it'll be like the rest of the 2011 season. I'm sure the offense is used to it.
(Braz might be out, but his outstanding Twitter account is alive and well, if you want to wish him well.)
Other injuries: C.J. Anderson might also be out for spring practice with a dislocated thumb. Looks like more reps for Bigelow and Lasco are on the way. Spencer Hagan also has an injured hand. Richard Rodgers will likely become the primary tight end, with Jacob Wark probably moving up to #2. Linebacker Jalen Jefferson also hurt his hand today.
