If you're looking for some pre-game reading, check out this excellent story on slugger Chad Bunting.

The stretch drive begins tonight in Eugene as the Bears look to continue Oregon's slump. The previously red-hot Ducks have lost three in a row to Pac-12 competition as injuries mount. But they do have senior ace Alex Keudell on the mound, and that gives them a pretty good shot. Keudell sports an ERA of 1.98, good for 3rd best amongst starters in the Pac-12.

Sophomore Michael Theofanopoulos (4.50 ERA) can't match those kind of credentials at this point, but he's done a great job of giving Cal a chance to win whenever he takes the mound. This is the one game of the series in which Oregon has the decided advantage, which means that if Cal can steal it they'll be in great shape for the rest of the weekend. Go Bears!
