Football
- Todd McShay breaks down the top linebackers. Kendricks is the second-best ILB in "range versus run" and tops in "third down capabilities."
- McShay looks at the top-tier talent in the draft. Kendricks and Schwartz are in tier 6 (mid-to-late second round picks) and Guyton is in the final tier, tier 7 (solid third round picks).
- Ted Miller has an overview of all of ESPN's draft coverage as it pertains to Pac-12 players.
- Uncle Ted breaks down Athlon's top-20 Pac-12 running back rankings. While Sofele is ranked 5th, Ted says that ranking may be a bit lofty if Brendan Bigelow and Daniel Lasco start eating into Sofele's carries.
Basketball
- The men's team held its team banquet on Wednesday. Harper Kamp was named team MVP and Jorge Gutierrez earned his fourth consecutive Defensive Player of the Year award (previously no one had ever won it more than twice). They shared both the 2012 Pete Newell Coach's Award and the Senior Award.
Rugby
- CalBears.com has a great profile on Seamus Kelly, from his time growing up in Breezy Point, NY to scoring the game-winning try to secure the national championship for the Bears last season.
Golf
Track and Field
- Linda Oseso hated Cal the first time she visited. She changed her mind when visiting on a recruiting trip thanks in part to a new perspective provided by coaches and fellow athletes. Now the senior looks back fondly on great memories on campus and in the community.
