We won't miss #13.

UConn vs. Notre Dame - 3:30 pm PT
Stanford vs. Baylor - 5:30 pm PT

If you weren't planning on watching the semi-finals of the women's NCAA tournament, I suggest you give it a look. There are a number of storylines and matchups that carry intrigue for Cal fans and neutral sports fans alike. Will Cal continue to be the only team that gave Notre Dame a decent challenge? Do you pull for Stanford in a show of Pac-12 pride, or root for the overwhelming favorite in the Baylor fake Bears?

I'll be paying attention to the battle between Brittney Griner and the Ogwumike sisters, which in my mind is one of the most fascinating match-ups in any sport this year. The 6'8'' Griner is one of the most physically dominating players you'll ever see, but Nneka Ogwumike has been every bit as productive on the offensive end. Can Nneka get her usual 20 points/game over Griner's insane wingspan? Can the Pac-12 defensive player of the year (Chiney Ogwumike) actually control the paint? I have no clue, but I'm looking forward to finding out.

Also, this might be your chance to bid farewell to the elder Ogwumike. Good riddance!
