Cal currently holds a decent but not sizable lead over Texas. Can they hold on?
Here are the crucial events to watch this evening, courtesy of LEastCoastBears.
- Men 200 Back Finals – most likely net gain over Texas
SR Mathias Gydesen is in the A Final with ZERO Texas swimmers (but 3 Furd) and SO Marcin Tarczynski is in the B Final with 3 Texas swimmers.- Men 100 Free Finals – might concede small net point to Texas
FR Tyler Messerschmidt is in the A Final with 1 Texas and 1 Furd swimmer each. Another Texas swimmer is in the B Final.- Men 200 Breast Finals – Bears should increase the lead over Texas by 25 points here. (offsetting the expected points by Texas in diving)
THREE Bears in the A Final against just 1 Texas swimmer. Texas does have another swimmer in the B Final.- Men 200 Fly Finals – can the Bears clinch with a win here !?!
Tom Shields is probably the favorite. Will Hamilton is also in the A Final for the Bears. 1 Texas swimmer in the A Final but the Bears also has another guy in the B Final.
Go Bears!
