The Bears are 0-4 in the Pac-12 and desperately need a win. In those four games the Bears have committed 13 errors and scored 9 runs. You read that correctly. So needless to say, there are lots of areas in which Cal needs to improve if they want to break out of their slump.
Luckily, Cal's best performing pitcher in 2012 is starting. Matt Flemer is on the mound, and he'll face Trevor Williams. Williams carries a 1.12 ERA into the game, so it will be up to Cal's batters to get to a pitcher that hasn't faced much adversity this season. We need this one bad. Go Bears!
