Cal Volleyball vs. ASU Open Thread

Looking at the calendar and figuring out how the Bears can finish above .500 to qualify for an NCAA at large bid, this is the match where the Bears need to reverse the result from the first half, when the Bears (11-10, 5-6) lost to the Sun Devils in 4 sets. GO BEARS!

Bears are looking for the first perfect week of conference play this season and this is the best chance. After a dominant 3 set win over Arizona despite Bears' inability to get the serve in way too many times. The Bears get to try to get revenge over Arizona State (14-10, 3-8) who are merely 3-7 on the road this year.

Looking ahead, the Bears travel to the Oregon schools next week, then host the Washington Schools. Then follow that up with a trip down to SoCal, before finishing the season hosting Utah (only match up of the season) and Furd. If the Bears can win today, then they can just beat OSU, Wazzu, and Utah for a .500 record (although an upset over one of the other Pac-12 team, ranked top 10 in the country) may be needed for a tournament berth.

This week's Cal Sports Report has an interview with Coach Feller start at the 5:11 mark (apparently they have interview Coach Feller on this many times, much to the protest of the one commenters for this video).

GO BEARS!
