It is a subdued day-after-the-Big Game Sunday as we wallow in Cal's 21-3 loss to Stanford in Saturday's Big Game. Wallow in your self-pity over some pro football. It is Week 7 of the NFL season.

Week 7 began on Thursday night, with the San Francisco 49ers bouncing back from being debacled by the NY Giants last Sunday. The 49ers overcame a good rushing effort by Marshawn Lynch to defeat the Seattle Seahawks 13-6. (In an amusing sidenote, a late-game decision by 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh caused quite a stir in the gambling world!)

Use this as your open thread for the rest of the Week 7 NFL action. Update us, in particular, on any happenings with the numerous Cal football alumni playing in the NFL. With the Seahawks having already played on Thursday and the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons among the six teams with a bye this week, we have many fewer Cal guys in action today and tomorrow than usual.

Enjoy the games. Full schedule below.
