The United States can clinch a spot in the knock-out phase with a win and some help from Sweden, and they are heavy favorites to beat the underdog Colombians. I haven't seen any chatter indicating that Alex Morgan will be starting today, but as always she's available on the bench if America needs a goal-scoring spark in the 2nd half.
Should the USA win and advance it would remove most of the pressure in their final group stage game against Sweden. In that situation I'd think that Alex Morgan would be given a start, if only to give a regular starter some rest. So there's another reason to hope for a convincing win today.
