Here it is!

OKLAHOMA CITY - For the 11th time in school history and the first time since 2005, the California softball team earned itself a place in the Women's College World Series. After working its way to three wins at the Louisville Regional and winning the Lexington Super Regional in dramatic fashion, the Golden Bears turn their crosshairs on Alabama in the opening game of the 2011 WCWS. First pitch for the Crimson Tide and Bears is slated for noon CT/10 a.m. PT and will be featured on ESPN2. The WCWS features eight teams in a double-elimination tournament. The outcome of the Cal-Alabama game will dictate the next match-ups for both teams.

Whew! The game starts in mere moments. It is on ESPN2 or the online streaming ESPN3.com. I have also linked to the Live Chat and GameTracker pages at CalBears.com above. Further, there is the Cal Softball Twitter account. We talked yesterday with SBNation's Alabama site about this matchup. The time for talk is over. Let's do this thing. GO BEARS!
