Fresh off the presses: An early offensive outburst and another shut-out from Jolene Henderson gave Cal the victory in Game 3 of the super regional!  After losing Game 2 the Bears faced elimination, but that only brought out their best:

After taking the loss in game two of the Super Regional earlier in the day on Sunday, Jolene Henderson pitched lights out. The sophomore workhorse allowed just three hits and struck out seven.

Jordan Wallace led the way with three RBI courtesy two doubles. Lindsey Ziegenhirt contributed two with a homer to center and Victoria Jones tallied two RBI as well.

With the bases loaded, Ashley Decker - who was hitting .250 with the bass juiced - earned herself a walk to plate Britt Vonk, who had singled to short. Victoria Jones put one on the ground to third with the bases loaded, scoring Williams. Jordan Wallace doubled to the wall in left, scoring two more and forcing Kentucky's hand, bringing in Rachel Riley to relieve starter Chanda Bell. A wild pitch brought home Victoria Jones, though that run was unearned due to a drop foul ball by Brittany Cervantes.
