Your #13 Golden Bears (16-5, 3-0) take on the University of San Francisco Dons (11-13) today in San Francisco, so if all of you Cal fans working in the financial district are looking for the perfect excuse to enjoy a sunny afternoon in the city, here's your chance! Additionally, the USF athletic site indicates this game is being streamed for those not near the city. KALX doesn't have today's game on their programming schedule, but I included the link just in case it's an error of omission.
Kevin Miller (2-1, 0.61 ERA) will start for the Bears today, and he will be looking to avenge Cal's only loss in their last eleven games. Two weeks ago the Bears lost at home to USF 7-6 in extra innings, a loss that ended a four game winning streak. And since that loss the Bears have rattled off six in a row. The loss is one of two games this season not started by one of Cal's usual four man rotation of Erik Johnson, Justin Jones, Dixon Anderson and Kevin Miller. The Dons will try to go 2-0 against the Bears behind freshman Alex Balrog Balog (2-0, 2.16 ERA), who will be making his first start of the college career. Go Bears!
