And with that the football regular season is over. I think things went pretty well around here. While Cal might have disappointed on the field, you guys never disappointed here, helping create a vibrant community of reasonable and intelligent discussion. Of course, we have a bowl game to break down and so much more before turning over the calendar to 2012.
This week is the first week without a football game in quite a while, but there is still a lot going on. Both MBB and WBB have home games this week. MBB takes on McNeese State tomorrow night, while WBB has a small tournament next weekend.
Plus, VBall starts in the NCAA tournament. Right now, they have a game in LA scheduled against UNC on Thursday, 12.1. It has been set for 5 PM. Hopefully, it'll be streamed and we can have an open thread.
The Men's Water Polo NCAA Tournament is being hosted in Berkeley. However, it is unclear whether Cal will make it at this time. Hopefully, they will!! Fingers crossed! If Cal makes it in and has some games, hopefully those, too, will be streamed and we can have an open thread. Could potentially have another Bearathon on Saturday if there is a VBall, MWP, and WBB game.
After the jump, a Cal Athletics schedule for the week and our schedule. We finish up with ASU content and then start to fill the void between regular season and bowl content.
