4ever Golden holds onto the top spot this week, though there still isn't much separation yet. Find out more after the jump.

  • This week's top performer was Forsett in his Mouth, who went 17-6-1 this past weekend, with a push in the Florida (-14) game against Tennessee, and incorrect calls with our Bears (-2.5) against Nevada, Florida State (-10) to cover against BYU, USC (-11.5) against Minnesota, Washington (+3) against Nebraska, Oregon State (-20) at home to cover against Louisville, and Auburn (-7) to cover against Clemson.
  • Everyone picked Cal.
  • Everyone also picked our Avian Overlords.
  • Only six people correctly picked UCLA (+3) against Houston - Forsett in his Mouth, omnizzle, planetxerox, doug, Clydesdales, and califas_uber_alles.
  • Only four people correctly picked Clemson (+7) against Auburn - doug, the Meddlesome Marmots, Clydesdales, and the Valiant Carpetbaggers.  You'd think that since doug and Clydesdales were able to pick these two games they'd have done really well for the week...but you'd be wrong.
  • Twelve people incorrectly picked Wake Forest (+17) at the Farm. But is it ever really wrong to pick against the denizens of Bear Territory South?
  • Despite the media bandwagon piling on Texas Tech as a popular upset pick, only three people incorrectly took Texas Tech (+3) against Texas.
  • Suprisingly, the majority of people picked Arizona (+1.5) against Iowa.  It might not surprise you given that last statement that I was not one of those people.

I feel like this should be grounds for automatic disqualification for the rest of the year.

Can I continue to keep my winning record despite scoring the fewest points in the league?  KEENAN ALLEN knows we're going to try!

3-1_medium

Despite some impressive lockdown defense (atoms scored the third fewest points of the week) and the fact that Jerrod Johnson managed to roll up a total of 3 fantasy points, Yellow Fever fell to atomsareenough 107.25-86. It might be time to give Darron Thomas a spin at the quarterback position - why, it's what Andy Reid would do!

3-2_medium

Followers of Mohamed absolutely crushed Team Winner 158.25-85 behind strong efforts from Justin Blackmon of Oklahoma State and Shoelace - and it could have been worse, given that he was only the third best QB on the team.

3-3_medium

Behind the highest point total of the week in the league, ILikeMyFriedRiceWithMSG pounded Riley for Heisman 172.5-133 with 52 points from Brandon Weeden and 25.5 points from LaMichael James. Kellen Moore rolled up 370 passing yards and 24 fantasy points along with 30 points from the Ohio State defense, but it wasn't quite enough.

3-4_medium

The Meddlesome Marmots slipped by 4Ever Golden 129-124 despite Kevin Riley's best efforts - and Shane Vereen's best efforts as well on the other side.  At least 4Ever Golden did the honorable thing and didn't play Colin Kaepernick...when he obviously would have made the difference between a win and a loss, with 49 points on the strength of his 148 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

3-5_medium

Berkeley's Finest remained undefeated with a 150-132 win over Joe Starkey Sucks on the strength of 30+ point efforts from Ryan Mallett, Derrick Locke of Kentucky, and Daniel Thomas of Kansas State.  DeMarco Murray and the Boise State defense combined for 68 points, but it wasn't enough for the victory.

Looks like one team still has reason to be pumping some sunshine after a 3-0 start!

3-6_medium

born to longsnap snapped past the Tongan Megathrusters 176.75-99 riding the efforts of the previously mentioned Ryan Mallett, LaMichael James, and Justin Blackmon. The Megathrusters did leave 68 points on their bench, but that hardly would have made a difference.

3-7_medium

Big BAM remained winless after losing 145-132 to Clydesdales - even with those 52 points from Brandon Weeden. Getting a total of zero points out of KEENAN ALLEN really did not help the winning effort. Hang in there, Scootie! We'll pull through this!

3-8_medium

Tedford's Sunshine Pumpers made effective halftime adjustments in holding Godzilla Ballers to a total of 89 points in winning 115.25-89. The team was led by Terrelle Pryor's 26 points and 29.25 points from the Oregon defense, while Blaine Gabbert and Godzilla Ballers' monster kicking effort weren't enough. Maybe that North Carolina defense isn't as nasty as everyone thought it would be without Marvin Austin.

3-9_medium

the fighting philosophers defeated Dirty Sanchez 129-124 despite getting a grand total of zero points from Stephen Sheffield. But then, that was offset by the fact that Jonathan Baldwin rolled up zero points as well. I'm starting to think neither of these guys is paying any attention anymore.

3-10_medium

HydroTech picked up his first win of the season 125.5-111 against #1GreatestThreatToAmericabehind 33 points from the good Rodgers brother against Louisville, and a routine effort from the Alabama defense. Derrick Locke put together 30 points, but didn't get much help otherwise.
