Todd Barr, DT Lakewood (Lakewood, CA) has Cal as his leader following his visit during the Cal-Arizona State weekend [$1].
"I was ready to do it," Barr said. "In my head, I decided I was ready to commit and be a Bear but after talking to my mom a few days after the trip and thinking things over some more, I decided I would take my last two trips.
"My mom just asked me, 'are you 100 percent sure you want to do this' and I still had a little hesitation and decided I didn't want to rush into something and look back later and have regrets. It was a great visit though and right now, Cal is very high on my list."

-
Bryce Treggs, WR St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA) {2012} offered by UCLA [11][$12].
Treggs is easily among the most gifted players in the region, regardless of position. In eight games, against one of the toughest schedules in the state, Treggs has 47 catches for 825 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also has 31 tackles and four picks on defense, but is being recruited strictly as a receiver at this time.
On the recruiting front, the offer from the Bruins was the third for Treggs joining Arizona State and Stanford. Treggs' father Brian played receiver for Cal but the athlete is saying that won't play a factor in his decision.
-
Thomas Johnson, ATH Skyline (Dallas, TX){2012} is planning an unofficial visit to Auburn in the Spring [$13].

Monty's Crew
-
Shabazz Muhammad, SG 6-5/190 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV) {2012} proved his national recruit status at the Fullcourt Press Las Vegas Showcase [18].
A top five prospect nationally in the class of 2012, there aren't many guys more explosive to the rim. He's a relentless competitor and has a polished mid-post game that compliments his transition finishing. There's not a better rebounding wing, he plays smart and the jumper continues to evolve. Muhammad is noticeably stronger and he's a violent slam dunker who attacks the rim whenever he can.
-
Daniel Green, C 6-9/205 Grapevine (Grapevine, TX) verbally committed to Wake Forest. Cal eliminated [19].
