“I’m just going to see how their program runs, and see how their coaches interact with their players, and see how they coach them up pregame and during the game,” McClure told Scout.com about his trip to Boulder. “I want to see the talent they have on the field while they’re playing the game, not just hear about it or see it on TV.” At least the Buffs appear to be in the running for McClure’s services. “Any schools I’m taking visits to are in the finals, and I’m considering them pretty hard,” said McClure.
-
Amir Carlisle, RB The King's Academy (San Jose, CA) interviewed [17]. Carlisle will be visiting Stanford, Notre Dame, Cal, and probably Maryland since his father, Duane, ran track at College Park. Carlisle has particular interest in colleges' Drama department and was especially impressed w/ USC.

It's going be a great game versus Stanford."

-
Thomas Johnson, ATH Skyline (Dallas, TX) {2012} is recruited by Cal as a WR [29]. Oklahoma is making an early impression while Texas has not made contact or a verbal offer yet. There is mutual interest between Johnson and Texas A&M.
-
Bryce Treggs, WR St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA) {2012} midseason highlights from Scout.com [30].
Treggs may be the best pure route-runner in the class of 2012 in what will be a loaded class of receivers in the West. He was the best underclass receiver we saw in Las Vegas at the Badger/New Level 7on7 and was our choice for MVP at the AIGA/Scout 7on7 Tournament in May.
But Treggs isn't just a camp all-star, he's a very gifted player on Friday nights too, and has shown why he's a member of the Scout 100 for the 2012 class, and considered one of the best playmakers in his class.
