I had a solid joke here about how hot it was and how many people left, but I soldered on even though I suffer from the debilitating disease, rickets. But it was lost. Now, you'll never get to experience the wide range of all my rickets-related humor. Your loss, I guess. But, unlike my ricketed body, many others left the game early due to the brutal heat:
