So, to recap, it's October 4. It's gameday. I'm out on the field, watching warm ups. It's been raining off and on, but is starting to get a bit harder. Then, without warning the entire team runs into the middle of the field to do stretches. They just LOVE to stretch.
Let's get it started in here!
The guy in the front there (who might be Nick Sundberg) was doing the splits, but I got the photo 1 second too late. :(! Apparently, Alex Mack can do the splits, too, but I couldn't quite find him out there. That's very impressive, if true!
Marvin Jones was just chilling on the sidelines there in a hat. I tried to get a solid shot, but failed.
After the team stretching, some Cal players came over by where I was standing and started practicing.
Tepper, always the jokester, came over to play grab ass with some of the players.
I even got a video of the players practicing:
Then, the DBs were out practicing their interceptions. You can see the rain was REALLY starting to come down hard. I was nervous about my camera breaking.
Then, the players finished up their warm ups, so we headed back to the North Tunnel to watch them run in.
My photos don't well represent it, but often the players come running in and high five fans on the sides of the Tunnel. So, if you are there about 20 minutes pre-game, you can probably slap some skin with some of the players.
So, there we go. It took 3 posts, but now we are ready to get to some actual GAME ACTION! Go Bears!
