Former Bear Alysia Johnson Montano defends USA championship at 800 meters! NCAA Decathlon champ Mike Morrison has to withdraw due to knee injury.

Former Golden Bear All-American Alysia Johnson won the 800 meters at the US Track and Field Championships by a half second over her nearest competition (Maggie Vessey), finishing with a time of 1:59:87. Her time in Friday's semifinal heat also produced the fastest US time this year. Could she be running her way to London? Watch her race here!
