UNC beat the Bears barely in the first two set (each by 2), before the Bears stormed back to take set 3. A late big Tar Heels run in set 4 ended the 2012 Volleyball season for the Bears.
Streaking Bears have been playing inspired Water Polo of late, but can they knock off the juggernaut that is USC (undefeated this year and winner of the last 4 NCAA titles)? Bears need to win today to ensure a NCAA tournament spot. GO BEARS!
Bears are also in the Berkeley Regional with only two mid-teen ranked teams to beat in the first two rounds. A pretty good draw for a team that barely became NCAA eligible. UNC and Iowa State should be fairly scared. GO BEARS!

Bears need to take care of business tonight against Utah, if they have any hope of making the post season. GO BEARS!
Another week, another almost chance against a top 10 team. Like last week against Washington, Bears were up 2 sets to 1 and had a matchpoint. However, Bears fell 11-15 in set 5. Now Utah on Monday is a MUST WIN at home. GO BEARS!
Bears dominated the 1st half and lead 1-0 before the Aztecs stormed back with 2 goals in the second half to eliminate the Bears in the NCAA 2nd round. Bears finished the season with an impressive 16-6 record. GO BEARS!
