The California Golden Bears have a rather small recruiting class with National Signing Day incoming. Four Cal commits reopened their recruitment, with one being an offensive lineman in Casey Roddick.
The Bears could use any big heavies they could get, and a family member will be making his decision on Signing Day. San Pedro offensive lineman Nick Ford lists a final four of Cal, Colorado, Utah and Washington.
Top 4. Cal, Colorado, Utah, Washington. I'll be announcing my commitment February 1st at the flagpole at 1:10pm. #Pac12 #D1 pic.twitter.com/KZnBK4TI4M

Ford really enjoyed his Cal official visit last month after being offered last October. Ford got offers from those four Pac-12 programs, and you’d have to imagine that defending Pac-12 champion Washington is the stiffest competition.

Can Cal get a National Signing Day surprise? The Bears are in need of more than one lineman; Michael Saffell is the other Cal offensive line commit.
Ford is ranked by 247Sports as a three-star offensive lineman (0.8247), and the 134th best offensive tackle and 128th best California prospect.
