Our long national nightmare is over. No, I don't mean the end of the Andy Buh-led defense. I'm talking about the end of another offseason. We're a mere two weeks from the start of the season and it's time for another round of our semi-annual season predictions.
Our veteran readers should know what to do, but our newer readers (welcome!) should read through the instructions. Instead of being interested in whether Cal wins or loses, we're interested in the chance that the Bears will win. If you believe the Bears have a 99.9% chance of beating Sacramento State, enter ".999" on the form. If you think Cal has 50% chance at beating Northwestern, enter ".5" in the appropriate box. And so forth. Please keep your submissions between 0.00 and 1.00 or else my abacus is going to be really upset. I don't want to tabulate this by hand, so please follow the instructions!
If you're feeling adventurous you can add up your percentages to get an expected number of wins. We encourage you to post them in the comments and discuss your rationale behind your picks. The deadline to submit your predictions is Wednesday August 20th. We will post the results shortly thereafter.
Thank you for your participation!
