This is a bit of a deja vu. For the second time in three weeks, the Golden Bears welcome the Pac-12 leading team to Evans Diamond. After being swept by the Washington Huskies in 3 close games two weeks ago, the Bears will try to have a much better fate against the Oregon State Beavers, who are also ranked No.2 in the country.
For the Bears to make it to the postseason, they really can't afford to drop any series, more importantly, they cannot afford to be swept in any series. Fortunately for the Bears, the team already have had 8 wins over ranked team under its belt for the season. This includes a road win over Cal Poly. These games being at home will hopefully allow the Bears to steal one or two this weekend and keep their post season hope alive.
Bears are coming off winning 2 out of 3 at Stanfurd last weekend and then survive a nerve-wrecking 1-0 win on Tuesday over USF.
Here are your potential lineup for the weekend:
Cal Tentative Line-Up

Pac-12 Baseball STANDINGS
By the way, this is the one time that you don't mind being mugged near Evans Diamond.
I don't think the Mug has any logo on it, but it is still a pretty sharp looking cup (not to mention a fun video starring Derek Campbell playing a pitcher).
