NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: Easter Elite 8 Open Thread

Rick Pitino will try to lead his Louisville Cardinals to their second straight Final Four. - Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

Syracuse and Wichita State (!) have already earned their berths in the Final Four. Who will join them? The South and Midwest regional finals will decide that question.

Happy Easter! On this holiest of days on the Christian calendar, what better way to celebrate than to watch Elite 8 action at the NCAA Tournament? In fact, remember the Biblical story where Peter and the other disciple ran to Jesus's tomb, only to find that he was not there? He wasn't there because He went to watch some basketball!

Before I digress into more sacrilege and blasphemy, here is your schedule for today's games:

South Regional Final -- Arlington, TX

(4) Michigan vs. (3) Florida

11:20 AM PT. TV: CBS

Midwest Regional Final -- Indianapolis

(2) Duke vs. (1) Louisville

2:05 PM PT. TV: CBS

These look to be two very good games. The Michigan-Florida winner will play Syracuse in the Final Four. Surprising Wichita State awaits the winner of the Duke-Louisville regional final.

This is your open thread for today's games. Enjoy the action and Happy Easter.
