Cal vs. Washington State score: Bears trail Cougars 14-2

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Cal trails WSU 14-2 after struggling with injuries and penalties.

Well... this game hasn't been going as hoped. Unless you like injuries and penalties and Cougars. After losing Chris McCain, Alex Logan, and Chris Adcock before the start of the game, we've seen injuries to Stefan McClure and Jalen Jefferson.

Maybe one of these days we can try playing well in the first quarter. Until then, we can continue to be the worst team in the FBS in terms of opponents' first-quarter points.

Cal ended the first quarter down 14-0, but Jared Goff and Bryce Treggs are doing everything they can to keep us in the game and the quarter ended with Richard Rodgers taking the ball to the goal line. Do we have a chance? Discuss the 2nd quarter inside. GO BEARS!
