Cal @ UCLA Halftime/Q3: Bears keep fighting, down 24-10

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Halftime + 3rd quarter open thread. The Bears are trying to stay in this thing. GO BEARS!

Our defense has been performing respectably (especially considering the plague of injuries) and our offense has finally woken up (thanks to some unique run plays from Richard Rodgers and Jacob Wark) to make things interesting. Please keep committing penalties, UCLA!

Cal has scored 10 unanswered points to bring the score to 17-10, but the Bruins were able to score a last-minute touchdown to make it a two-score game. It's promising to see our team's got the grit to keep punching despite being outmatched.

Here's your dual threat halftime and 3rd Quarter open thread. Let's beat the Bruins! GO BEARS!
