Time for some Pac-12 and Cal Alum Football! - Thursday Night Open Thread

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

All Cal fans should have at least a passing interest in the games tonight as they feature Pac-12 foes Arizona and USC battling while Chris Conte (once a Bear, still a Bear) leads the Chicago Bears against the NY Football Winless Giants.

Thursday night football! Here is your college football schedule for the evening as week 7 of the season gets underway:

Thursday, October 10th (all times Pacific)
Rutgers at Louisville 4:30 p.m. ESPN (HD) / WatchESPN *9
South Carolina State at NC Central 4:30 p.m. ESPNU (HD) / WatchESPN *9
San Diego State at Air Force 6:00 p.m. CBSSN (HD)
Arizona at USC 7:30 p.m. FS1 (HD)

Can Rutgers make it a game against Louisville and Teddy Bridgewater? Has anyone ever heard of those Carolina schools? Will Air Force shut down midway through the game? Who cares? We have Pac-12 action to get to and we want to see if USC can wake up from their nightmare season after having ditched Lane Kiffin. Or will RichRod prolong their misery?

And if that wasn't enough, the Chicago Bears take on the NY Giants over on the NFL Network at 5:25 pm PT. Watch former Golden Bear Chris Conte work to keep the Giants winless.

Ladies and gents, this is your open thread for the Thursday college and pro action. You know what to do.
