Cal Recruiting Discussion Thread- Week of 8/26
Yo, recruitniks. This is the spot to talk Cal football recruiting this week as we get ready for college football to kick off.
This past weekend, 4 of Cal's 10 commits and several key targets kicked of their seasons. Lots of good and notable perfomances. I'll be covering them extensively on Wednesday in this week's GRW, but that doesn't mean we can't talk about them here as well:
QB Jared Goff: 11-20 for 211 yards and 1 TD in a win over Miramonte. Suck it, Mats!
TE Ray Hudson: 2 touchdown catches in Foothill's pasting of Novato, 52-9.
CB Darius Allensworth: a 24-yard TD catch and a 95 yard kickoff return TD in Heritage's 32-6 win over San Jacinto. San Jacinto had 9 yards in the game.
K Matt Anderson: a 40 yard field goal and 3 extra points in San Ramon Valley's loss to Buhach Colony (24-28).
