Cal Football: Jason Gibson To Have Season-Ending Surgery

Gibson tweeted it earlier today; his broken foot will sideline him for the rest of 2012. Wish him the best on Twitter (the link above will take you to it). I'm not sure if Gibson will be eligible for a hardship waiver for not being able to play. If not, he will be a RS sophomore for the 2013 season.
