A friend (a Domer) send me this article ( http://stanford.scout.com/2/1066657.html ) which lists Cal's football team graduation rate at 65% - third best in the Pac-10 but fifth worst nationally when compared to Cal's overall graduation rate of 89% (-24%). Can that be right? If so, it doesn't reflect very well on the program. And shouldn't we be a bit better on the field if Tedford is able to recruit guys who can't /don't graduate?
OTOH, Montgomery has the basketball team at a 30% graduation rate (-59%). If that's right, it's really no bueno!
Anybody know the real story on this scout.com website?
