Willie Fletcher Will Not Play This Fall Due To Academics
Per Tedford: freshman CB Willie Fletcher will not play for Cal this fall for failing to complete Summerbridge requirements

Fletcher will supposedly work to get back on the team (likely via the JuCo route), but he will not be at Cal this fall. This is a tough blow because it sounded like Fletcher was an unlikely breakout star at fall camp. But like many of our late recruiting commits after the post-Tosh situation (Raymond Ford and Maurice Bennett), there were definite academic concerns with all of them, and now there's a distinct possibility none of them will be Bears. Damnit Tosh.
