Cal will begin regular-season play with a pair of home contests against CSU Bakersfield (Nov. 11) and Pepperdine (Nov. 13). Montgomery's squad will make its first of two trips to the state of Colorado this season for its first road game of the 2011-12 campaign as the Bears meet Denver Nov. 16. Cal will participate in the Anaheim Classic over the Thanksgiving holiday, joining Drake, Drexel, Georgia Tech, Pacific, Rice, Saint Mary's and Xavier in the eight-team tournament. The Bears will play their first of three games in the Anaheim Classic against Drake on Nov. 22, followed by games on Nov. 23 and Nov. 25. California opens the month of December against three NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago. The Bears will travel to Madison, Wisc., to face Wisconsin - a 2012 Sweet Sixteen squad - Dec. 2 before returning home to open a five-game homestand against UNLV (Dec. 9) and defending Missouri Valley Conference champions, Creighton (Dec. 15). Home contests against UCSB (Dec. 18), Prairie View A&M (Dec. 22) and Harvard (Dec. 29) round out the calendar year.
