Yesterday's game might have been the most disheartening of the year. The Bears were down almost immediately and after just 3 innings it was 7-0. That's way too many runs to give Adam Plutko and the UCLA bullpen, and they made it stand up easily. It was never a contest.

Cal will look to rebound behind Justin Jones today. It should be noted that this could be Jones's last start at Evans Diamond if he chooses to sign a pro contract this year. UCLA counters with righty Nick Vander Tuig, who sports a very hittable looking ERA of 4.96. If a win is coming this weekend, it'll probably have to come today. Here's to hoping. Go Bears!
