Romans, Countrymen, and Lovers,
We all have those moments where stress just seems to catch up to and overwhelm us. It could be from a deadline on a project at work, business school essays (lol), a messy breakup... anything.
And sometimes, we need to take a step away from it and de-stress. Some of us only can do that after the goal has been attained. For others, maybe it helps us regain focus and jump right back into the thick of things. Regardless, what's your favourite way to do that?
Here are a few of my choices:
1) Work out - It's a cliche because it's true. Exercise makes you feel better physically and mentally, gets your mind off your problems, and all that good stuff.
2) Dream - Imagine what my goal is in life. Visualizing how what I'm doing is helping me get there and is getting me closer serves to mitigate stress
3) Change my surroundings - Sometimes, a quick fix for me at work is to just disappear for a ten minute walk. If I've just been staring at the computer monitor for hours, going outdoors helps me reset quickly.
4) Watching Hindi movies - because everything works out in the end. Why can't it work out for me to, even if I don't look like Shahrukh Khan and have Priyanka Chopra by my side?
