Matt Flemer gave up 3 runs in an uncharacteristically shaky first inning, and that ended up proving to be more than enough for Arizona in a 4-1 Wildcat win. Cal only managed 3 hits, one of which was a solo home run hit by Tony Renda. Konner Wade went the entire way for Arizona, striking out 7 Bears in the process.

Justin Jones it pitching today looking to salvage the last game of the series as Cal's slim post-season hopes keep taking painful blows. I have a hard time seeing how this season ends in the playoffs, but it would be nice if Cal could at least finish with a flurry rather than a whimper.
