If you're following the noon softball game, here's gametracker and twitter updates.

The Bears lost another heartbreaker yesterday by the score of 3-2. Matt Flemer was solid and Cal managed 5 more baserunners than the Ducks. But Oregon got their hits at the right time and scored all three runs with two outs. Cal left 12 men on base, and you can't get away with that on the road against a ranked team.

The loss sets up another near must-win for the perpetually on-the-edge Bears. Luckily, Oregon's Sunday starter is significantly weaker than their first two rotation arms. Righty Jeff Gold carries an ERA of 4.32 into today's contest against Justin Jones, who has looked better lately than his ERA (4.24) suggests. Go Bears!
