Sometimes I'll get drunk and think about posting a DBD when I get home...what wonderful things I have to say! Then I usually drink more Heineken and/or Bud with Jameson and/or Fernet, and I forget what I had to say, or when I get home I completely forget that I even thought of posting a DBD. This is why I've never posted a DBD.

So here's the first one because...

1. I'm awake (though I shouldn't be)

2. I'm sober enough to type (though not sober)

3. I have pictures!

One of these days I might go into detail regarding my extensive hiatus but right now it is not necessary. The matter at hand, however, is that my new job allows me to get my DBD on...and that pleases me. It's nice to be back with people who love Cal as unconditionally, avoid work as often, respect grammar with the same passion and recognize the importance of popular culture movie quotes as much as myself... so thank you all for existing.

Now, I shouldn't be awake, but I had a cup of coffee at around 9:00pm and I've been up ever since, packing for a retreat in Napa tomorrow morning through Friday...taking breaks to play Madden and now type this. I won't be able to DBD for the next three business days... five days total...So here I am, to leave you with something that I care about, that I think you'll care about. It just makes me feel better to leave you all with a little piece of me if I can't try to put together the pieces of you and unjustifiably judge you.

I'd like to share with you my recent Cal shopping spree to make you smile as you start off your day! After a DBD dominated by food, let's start this with clothes. I'm just about done packing now and the bus leaves at 9:00am! I will be bringing some of this to the retreat. Talk to y'all when I can.
