There were some incredible highs and lows on the diamond yesterday for Cal baseball and softball. The high? A bottom of the ninth seventh bases loaded walk off double that propelled Cal to a walk-off win over Washington. The low? Cal baseball was absolutely drubbed by the Longhorns in a game that was over almost as soon as it was started.
Thus, the softball Bears will try to continue their torrid hot streak, and Valerie Arioto will likely be on the rubber. And the baseball Bears will try to fix their own downward spiral behind Matt Flemer, who has been Cal's best pitcher by far this season. Go Bears!
