The Bears have a chance to build some midweek road momentum against the Fresno State Bulldogs after falling on Sunday in the series rubber match against Arizona State. FSU enters today's game with a record of 13-10 against a not super-scary schedule. But they do have a win over Stanford, so they're fully capable of competing and Cal can't really afford many more losses at this point in the season.

Cal's official website doesn't list a projected starter for today's game. In any case, I hope the team is well rested, because next up on the schedule is a four game series in Austin, Texas. It's a tough road for the nomadic Bears in 2012.
