Who is heading down to Maples for the Men's Basketball game against Stanford this Sunday? Reader FrankCohen and his merry band of Golden Bears are spearheading the #OccupyMaples movement. After all, you know that Cal represents the 99% against Stanford's 1%! So, what is the information? Here is the Facebook group and the stuff you need to know:

We've purchased blocks of tickets already. E-mail sheu.vincent [at] gmail [dot] com with your name and the names of those wishing to be part of this group. Tickets are $27 through PayPal (to Vincent) or $26 in person. We are also working on Carpools to get to the game.

The most important part is that you need to WEAR GOLD! Blue will look too similar to Stanford's alternate color: poser black. So, WEAR GOLD!!!! I've been told that if you want to go with the #OCCUPYMAPLES block of tickets, you need to contact them by Wednesday. That is the deadline!

Also, the Women's Basketball game against Stanford is this Sunday. It is at 6 PM. We're working on organizing a group to go to that, so keep your head to the ground there. Whether you come with us or not, GO AND CHEER ON YOUR GOLDEN BEARS AT HAAS THIS SUNDAY AGAINST THE CARDINAL! It is #1 in the Pac-12 versus #2 in the Pac-12, so it is a huge game. Cal WBB nearly knocked off Stanford earlier this year in Maples. Is home cooking enough to get it done this week????
