Updated: Help make Southern California Bear Territory for Men's Basketball!

USA TODAY Sports

Cal Men's Basketball is headed south for a series with the LA teams. This is a call for all Cal fans to get out and see the Bears take on UCLA and USC on Jan 3rd and 5th respectively, and to attend a team reception on the 4th.

Seriously, if you are able to make these games, you definitely need to go. I mean come on, Coach Monty is urging you to go. What more motivation do you need?

If live live in or around Southern California and consider yourself a Cal fan, you definitely need to do whatever you can to go see the Golden Bears in action for Men's Basketball this next week. Not only will it be a great chance to see Cal play in your backyard, but there is also a reception for fans to meet the coaches and team on Fri, Jan 4, 2013 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. The reception is free. Did you hear that? FREE! It's a can't miss opportunity that you really need to get in on.

A group of dedicated Cal fans are planning on a hostile takeover of USC's Galen Arena on Saturday January 5th, so if you can only make one event, that would be the one. You can find more information about tickets, etc over on the Facebook page for the event, which is linked here for your convenience.

So get out and support Cal Basketball and let the whole world know that Southern California is Bear Territory! GO BEARS!
