Hello DBD enthusiasts! Happy Boxing Day! Because what could be more relevant than marking a British tradition that doesn't result in everyone getting the day off? Nothing, that's what.
Popular tradition would have it that Boxing Day was the day when the servants in grand houses would get the day off and receive presents from their ruling class overlords. In college football terms, that would probably mean presents being delivered to the likes of Western Kentucky from Alabama, but experience suggests no such munificence is forthcoming. Alas, poor Western Kentucky.
Alas, in sporting terms, we're being treated to several Premiere League games involving less than exciting teams and then tonight's Little Caesar's Bowl featuring Central Michigan and - well look at that! - Western Kentucky, newly employing Bobby Petrino. The gifts just keep on coming for Western Kentucky.
If there was a sudden reversal in the ways of the world and you were to receive a present from management, what would it be? This could be personal, sporting, whatever. And if you're in an exalted management position: once you've stopped laughing, what generosity would you shower upon your huddled masses?
