Congratulations to former Golden Bears standout and Oakland A's manager Bob Melvin for being named the MLB American League Manager of the Year! After a dramatic finish to a 94-win season that saw the A's use 19 rookies (briefly including an all-rookie starting rotation!), this is a well-deserved award.
